II fejezet
1. Now behold it came to pass the Lord spoke towards my father, yea, completely to him in a dream, and this He said to him; Blessed art thou Lehi, because of those things which you did; and because you were faithful and declared to this people those things which I commanded to you, behold onto that they strive to take away your life.
2. And it came to pass that, that being the Lord commanded to my father, completely towards him in a dream, that he should take his family and he should go away into the wilderness.
3. And it came to pass, he was obedient God's word iránt, therefore like that he did how the Lord commanded to him.
4. And it came to pass that he went away into the wilderness. And otthagyta his house, and öröksége his land of, and his gold, and ezüstjét, and precious things, and he took none of it with him, except his family, and élelmiszert, and tents, and he went away into the wilderness.
5. And the határ mentén the bank of the Red Sea he came down, and inside the boundary of the wilderness there he went, where it was close to the Red Sea, and he went inside the wilderness with his family, which out of my mother, out of Saria, and out of my older brothers it stands, who were Laman, Lemuel, and Sam.
6. And it came to pass when he went three days inside the wilderness felverte his tent alongside a river telt with water lévő inside a valley.
7. And it came to pass that, that being he built an out of stone prepared altar and prepared an offering to the Lord, and thanks he gave to the Lord, to our God.
8. And it came to pass he named the river Laman, and into the Red Sea ömlött; and the valley was inside the border, near to the torkolatához.
9. And when my father saw, that into the source of the Red Sea the river of water flows, to Laman he spoke, saying: Oh, if only you would be similar to this river, szüntelenül hurrying in the direction of every source of righteousness!
10. And towards Lemuel he also spoke: Oh, if only you would be similar to this valley, firm and steadfast, and without being able to be ordered inside the keeping of the Lord's commandments.
11. Now, he said these because of Laman and Lemuel's merevnyakúsága; behold many things they murmured against their father because he was a vision seeing person, and he led them out of the land of Jerusalem, that they should abandon the land of their inheritance, and their gold, and their silver, and their valuable things, that they perish inside the wilderness. And they said that he did this because of the imaginations of his heart balga.
12. And like this Laman and Lemuel lévén the oldest, they murmured against their father. And they murmured because they did not acquaint themselves to the actions of God, Who created them.
13. They did not believe either that Jerusalem, that great city, can be destroyed according to the prophet's words. And they were like the Jews, who were inside Jerusalem, who strove to take away my father's life.
14. And it came to pass that my father spoke towards them inside the valley of Lemuel, with power, full with the Spirit, while their bodies shuddered before him. And he made them hear, that no more mertek to say against him; like that they did therefore, the way he commanded to them.
15. And my father dwelt inside a tent.
16. And it came to pass that, that being I Nephi being exceedingly young, mégis good large termetű, and possessing powerful desire that I should become familiar with the mysteries of God, I cried therefore towards the Lord, and behold, He visited me, and softened my heart, like that I believed all those words, that my father said; not lázadoztam therefore against him, like my brothers.
17. And I spoke towards Sam, tudatván with him those things which the Lord, through His Holy Spirit declared to me. And it came to pass he believed my words.
18. But behold, Laman and Lemuel did not want to hear onto my words, and gyötrődvén because of the hardness of their hearts, towards the Lord I cried for them.
19. And it came to pass that, that being the Lord spoke towards me saying: Blessed art thou, Nephi, because of your faith, because diligently, with humble heart you sought Me.
20. And amennyiben you keep My commandments, you all will prosper, and I will cause you to be led onto a promised land; yea, mégpedig onto a land, which to you all I prepared; yea, onto a land, which kiválóbb next to all other lands.
21. And insamuch as your brothers revolt against you, kivágatnak before the Lord.
22. And inasmuch as you keep My commandments, a ruler and a teacher tétesz above your brothers.
23. Behold, on that day, when they revolt against Me, megátkozom them, towards that keserves átokkal, and there won't be their power above your seed, except if they also revolt against Me.
24. And if like that it will be, that being they revolt against Me, ostorai they will be to your seed, felsekentsék them onto the road of rememberance.
N.B. In 2013 I got to verse 25 of the next chapter. That being said, there might be more Hungarian after verse 25, not less, since I'm certain I've forgotten a lot. I will also probably not be updating every Friday, even though the pattern so far has been that I posted on Friday.
